well, it's a friday the 30th, the start of the canada day long weekend.

well, it's not really starting today.

i have to work.

but it feels like a weekend already...a very long one...

i've been finding myself getting more and more relaxed...i've thoroughly enjoyed my summer break thus far...going out almost every weekend...working, but not working all the time...i'm not just usually stuck, cooped up in my room...i've actually gone out with friends and family and really made this summer one of the best ones i've had.

i'm also kind of reverting to a vacation mode...ONLY A WEEK LEFT BEFORE I GO TO PERU!...i just don't want to worry about anything anymore...i just can't believe i'm actually going now...and that it's coming in seven days!

finance-wise, everything seems to be in tip-top shape...even though we got an emergency e-mail from the group we're dealing with and they said we had to pay an extra $300 because of the plane tickets...oy, that was a shock...but somehow, based on all the sponsorships and donations i've received, i don't think i should be scared of anything at all.

now, i've got a week to just get all my stuff ready and packed...still haven't figured out what to bring, but i've got a week, i don't have anything big planned then.

well, except tomorrow...FOXFEST at the plaza of nations with billy talent, thornley and theory of a deadman (blech, i have to sit through their set now...oh well, only one out of three headliners is stinking bad)...a full day of rock...and canadian talent...should be fun...and hopefully my brother is up for going to the mosh...hell yes.

then on sunday, after church...i will be visiting our neighbours to the south...do some shopping in seattle, eat out, have fun, hang out with my bestest friend hannah and her bro and her friend and my siblings...and i need to go to hot topic...

i MUST get a 30 seconds to mars t-shirt.

gosh, i'm really obsessed.

it's funny, like today, i was suddenly (and pleasantly) woken up by the sound of my ringtone...the kill...and for a moment i thought they were playing the single on the radio...and then i realized it was just the mp3 ringtone of my cell...ha!

is there some kind of rehabilitation for this?

but i don't think i'd want to come down.

and i even got my friend courtney to be a fan too...soooo, i swear, if they ever come back to vancouver in the fall, i'll be dragging her and myself along to 30STM concert...HELL YES.

*cough*

okay, you know what, i'm just babbling now...i have to get some lunch in me system, then get ready for work or something.

as you can see as well, i've updated some linkage (killed some dead ones, added some new ones)...as well as added my last.fm playlist...so you can check out what i'm listening to at the moment.
