i'm awake, but not alert.

meh, it's all my fault, really.

i've just had a few interesting nights out in the last three days (well, minus yesterday, i just went to work).

i call them my nights of debauchery.

let's see...

tuesday, i went out with three of my peru trip friends to go to the van art gallery...then indulged our chocoholic urges at death by chocolate...i got one called "zero tolerance"...chocolate sponge cake with chocolate ganache and ice cream...sinfully good.

then wednesday, i was out with ali to go check out the strokes at the plaza of nations...waiting for two hours paid off 'cause we ended up being in the FRONT ROW...hell yeah, i was damn close to the boys in the band...le sigh...i swear, julian casablancas (le lead singer, for those not in the know) looked at me in the eye when he sang a few songs...sweet...i was well-chuffed at the end of the night though...fucking teens once again pushing forward...i ended up losing my place in the barriers...but whatev, i got to see them that close...and after all was said and done at the rock show, ali and i decided to to go the edgewater casino...haha, we only played the slots, lost our money, we be low rollers, peeps...some dimsum and booze after...and then arrivaderci to one of the funner nights of the summer.

so yeah, those were my two fun nights.

actually, a funny story regarding the strokes...

the day before (as i was waiting for my friends for our art gallery thing), i was at HMV checking out some new music...as i was walking at the back i saw someone pass by me who looked exactly like strokes bass player nikolai...but for the life of me, i was second-guessing myself and didn't run after him to ask if it was truly who i thought it was...i only did a double take and chuckled it off...

...little did i know, it WAS him that i saw!

gawd, i could've talked to him.

after those two fun days, it's just back to good ol' work for me...this entire long weekend...well, except on monday, we're renovating our church, so i'll be doing some painting and stuff.

i'm anticipating it to be busy.

the da vinci code is opening today.

time to hold down the fort tonight and tomorrow night.

soooo happy that the hippies won the amazing race...i saw it all in its entirety yesterday (i had to tape the finale 'cuz i was at the concert)...i tell yah, good guys finish first...they so deserved to win...my absolute most fave pair that have ever been at the race...kudos to bj and tyler!

as you can see, i'm hella excited about season finales this week and next.

and the one i've been waiting for...

24!!!

i will tell you right now...do not disturb me that night...HA.
