he played his music too loud...now i'm awake...and it's only 10-ish in the morning.

i love sleeping in.

well, it's been a week now since my last day of school.

i be getting kinda bored, actually.

had a fab easter weekend...my friend's 18th birthday, a "debut" in filipino terms...then an all-girls sleepover at lena's cousin's house...then a VERY early sunrise easter service at crescent beach...and very cold too...then another party on easter sunday night.

after all that, now all i've been doing this week is WORKING.

i wasn't really supposed to be working this much, but someone got fired, so i took his shifts.

meh...more money for me.

HA.

anyways, it's still gonna be a sweet few more days.

i mean, i don't have school anymore, i should be rejoicing.

but sometimes i'm bummed that i'm not seeing the familiars anymore...j-school was such a routine, not having it around for five months is gonna be utterly odd.

i'm also afraid that my writing prowess might melt during the course of this break.

i myspace-talked to kyle yesterday, and we both wanted to do some serious writing over the summer...i've had this story idea simmering in my brain, was supposed to be for my final feature story for school...but time constraints prevented me from starting...so i might explore that and write a feature on filipinos in pop culture...maybe even sell it to a magazine...who knows?

this blog will help me continue to put my thoughts into proper words anyways...good practice...i'll continue to take on mark's advice and just write.

okay, it's my first day-off of the week...gotta go get my international student card (for travel) and hit value village for some thrift finds...then bowling tonight!

and i gotta tape the amazing race...i missed it already last week.

i can hear someone saying now, why not tape lost when you're pretty obsessed with that too?
