...soooo, i have survived the aftermath of the snowstorm...although i'm constantly wet and can't walk fast enough anymore, i seem to be getting by...hehehe...hopefully it rains soon, so all the snow can melt and wash away...and i'm hoping it won't be freezing anymore...i don't wanna come out and realize i'll need skates to go out...so yah, it's back to normal vancouver weather now...somewhat... ^^ ...
...i'm not used to waking up extra early at all...my body's unable to function properly at 6 AM...even caffeine doesn't work...*yawn*...i really want to sleep, but if i do that i'll be snappy to the customers when i go to work...but that could be an advantage...lousy customers...*sly grin*...and so instead of really posting my own thoughts, i'm gonna write something based on my current song of the moment...
...tis the first single from incubus' upcoming album "a crow left of the murder" (i believe that's the title)...the song really reminds me of the stuff i've been ranting about for the last few entries...really fitting, a good song to tell off those haters and those who think they're all that...it also seems to be politically laced...apparently that will be reflected on the music video for the song...it would be really interesting to see it...well, i'll let the lyrics speak for itself...go check it out...it should be playing now on radio...or you could do the "other" thing...*wink*...

...on the same note, have you guys heard of a contest done by moveon.org (a group that empowers americans to stand up against the current bush government through the 2004 elections) called "bush in 30 seconds", where in participants have to make a 30 second ad that will best represent the ideals of the anti-bush community? (long question)...apparently one of the ads compared bush to adolf hitler, like his government was comparable to that of nazi germany's...of course, the ad was pulled, at the request of the republican government, due to its controversial subject...now, i do not agree with george bush at all, but it doesn't mean that i would go as far as comparing him to the most evil leader of all time...that's a very fine line that i would not like to cross...but at the other hand, it's important to give those kinds of viewpoints, cuz it opens people to discussion...makes them think...i had teacher once tell me that until you're not fully insulted, you haven't learned a thing...ads such as that compel people to be critical, to debate, to discuss...it was just rather interesting to see in the news...i just wanted to point that out...
...alright, gotta go now...tomorrow's entry will have a lighter subject than this...it seems that my last few entries have been quite depressing...like i have lost all faith in mankind...well, maybe i sorta have, but there's still that glimmer of hope...*sigh*...oh this world of mine...okay, now i'm babbling...*zips mouth*... ^^ ; ...anyways, peace out...JOY :)
